Booking and Payment

1. Your booking is confirmed once full payment has been received. Then confirmation email will be sent to you. 

2. Payment must be done by *cash or your credit card in full payment no later than

 - 72 hours before the tour start for one-day hike

 - One week before the tour start for a multi-day hike 

3. If payment is not received by the deadlines above, cancellation fees will be charged by following the Cancellation Policy.

Cancellation Policy

1. All cancellation requests must be made by email or phone. 

2. Cancellations fees are as follows; 

One-day hike

30% of the guiding fee if cancelled within 72 hours before the tour starts

50% within 48 hours before the tour starts

100% within 24 hours before the tour starts, or in case of no-show.

Multi-day hike

30% of the guiding fee if cancelled within 7 days before the tour starts

50% within 5 days before the tour start

100% within 2 days before the tour starts or in case of no-show.

Example

If your tour starts on 15th of August, 

30%  will be charged from 7th of August. 

50% will be charged from 10th of August.

100% will be charged from 13th of August.

3. Refunds

Refunds will be made according to cancellation policy.

Please note that credit card transaction fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel any tour at anytime for safety reasons, including but not limited to;

1.Unacceptable weather conditions (heavy rain, strong wind, snow etc.) or natural disasters(earthquake, volcanic activity, typhoon etc.)

2.Physical or mental conditions deemed unsafe for participation.

If the trip has not yet started, we will refund 100% of the guiding fee (excluding transaction fees).  

If the trip is already in progress, no refunds will be given. 

3.In case of cancellation, we will notify you at least one day prior to  the tour start date by email or phone.

Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase insurance covering medical expenses and rescue operations for hiking activity. We do not provide any insurance for our tours.

Trip fee

Our trip fee covers guiding services only. It does not include transportation costs, meals and mountain hut fee. 

Risk management

Our trip takes place in natural environment. Please understand that there is always a risk of accidents or unexpected situations even with a trained and experienced guide. ​In case of illness or injury, please note that there may be no medical facilities nearby.

Responsibilities

1.You are responsible for managing your own health conditions, medications and allergies, and for providing this information honestly before the trip starts.

2.You are responsible for bringing all required equipment and gear for the tour.

3.We are NOT responsible for any loss or damage to your personal belongings during the trip, nor for any additional expenses caused by cancellations.

Changes

1.We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Future bookings are subject to the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of booking.

2. A booking may be rescheduled without fee (prior to cancellation fee deadlines,) subject to availability.

3.The trip itinerary (schedule and route) may change depending on weather and trail conditions.

Participant Age

Participants must be at least  6 years old. Depending on the place, this age varies.
