Mt. Iizuna 飯縄山

OVERVIEW
Mt. Iizuna is located next to the Togakushi area. This mountain is a very popular mountain in Nagano, and it is a part of the Hoku-shin (which means northern part of Nagano) five mountains. The trail is mostly covered by trees, and 13 stone Buddhas are along the way. The mountain used to be a sacred mountain for mountain worship. You are able to see the rest of the four mountains from the top if you are lucky with the weather.

Elevation gain and loss: 830m (from1,126m to 1,917m)
