Mt.Yari 槍ヶ岳

OVERVIEW
The most iconic mountain in the northern alps is this mountain, Mt. Yari. Meaning spear, with that shape of the mountain, you never forget once you see it. The lift-up and glacier activities made this mountain as it is now.
We walk through a long valley from Kamikochi. The Yarisawa lodge, first mountain hut we stay is located by the river. We may have a chance to have shower since this hut is rich in water.
On the 2nd day, as we are gaining the elevation step by step, we are facing a wide opening view.

1 hour drive from Matsumoto station to Sawando Parking lot
From the parking, 30 min. drive by bus or taxi to Kamikochi
