OVERVIEW
The pyramid shape of mountain is remarkable from Matsumoto and Azumino city in Nagano. Johnen is one of the most popular mountains in North Alps and it is a part of Panorama ginza which has stunning view of Yari and Hotaka mounain range. This trail is by the stream of Ichinosawa. Once we reach the last running water point, the treeline is close and that is the saddle. After resting at a hut on the saddle then we make a last push to the summit.
